The Spirit of Fear
2020 has been a very uncertain time for many people. From day to day people are unsure of what to expect. The thought of losing a job, not being able to keep a home, or not being able to feed a family is causing many to worry. This uncertainty can lead to Satan’s weapon of choice: Fear. Now we know that God does not give a spirit of fear but fear is a very real thing that can stop us from fulfilling God’s will and can prevent the unbeliever from coming to God.
I just wanted to take a moment to remind you all that we should do what ever we need to do to rid ourselves of the spirit of fear. It is not of God and should not dwell in us. God is love and God is peace and because of that, fear and love cannot live in the same house. I want to encourage you all to not be afraid in this season. Through prayer, seek the love and comfort that only God can give. We are in a war and we cannot fight if we are afraid.
The World needs the Believer right now because we have the Answer!
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4:7
